The Jacob S. Zweig Foundation, Inc., also known as In Jacob’s Shoes, is hosting its Second Annual Shopping Boutique event at Congregation Kol Tikvah.
Held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the charitable event is dedicated to raising funds to provide new shoes for local children in need, continuing the legacy of giving that was inspired by the life of Jacob, whose life was tragically cut short in 2008 at 17.
In his memory, the foundation focuses on making a significant impact within the South Florida community by offering shoes and backpacks filled with school supplies to underprivileged children and families.
This year’s boutique will feature a variety of vendors. The list of participants includes Collin the Shots, Constance K, MB Styles, Zuckerman’s Jewelry, and Blings & Things, among others, offering a wide range of products from housewares, candles, and jewelry to handcrafted wood bowls, handbags, cosmetics, and upcycled clothing.
A standout participant, StyleChild by JL, is known for her commitment to the cause. For every pair of children’s shoes sold, she donates a pair to In Jacob’s Shoes.
Don’t miss sips, bites, and sweets, along with raffles. Those interested can RSVP at bidpal.net/shop.
Congregation Kol Tikvah is located at 6750 University Drive in Parkland.
