Broward County Schools Offering Trauma-Focused Individual, Family, and Group Counseling

In partnership with the City of Coral Springs and Harmony Development Center, trauma-focused individual, family, and group counseling is now available on weekends at Cypress Hammock Park.

The hours are Saturdays and Sundays from noon until 5 p.m. Parents may request bilingual therapists in Spanish or Haitian-Creole by sending an email to operations@harmonydc1.org by 2 pm on Fridays. All walk-ins are welcome. Parents wanting to schedule an appointment at Cypress Hammock Park may call 954-766-4483.

The weekend services are in addition to counseling services offered Mondays through Thursdays at Westglades Middle School, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, and Coral Springs Middle School, as well as services provided through the Eagles’ Haven. Summer Schedule June 10, 2019 – July 25, 2019, Monday – Thursday.

Westglades Middle School 11000 Holmberg Road, Parkland 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School 5901 NW Pine Island Road, Parkland 8 a.m.– 4 p.m. These onsite Services at the Wellness Center are limited to MSD students and families.

Coral Springs Middle School 10300 West Wiles Road, Coral Springs Noon – 7 p.m.

Cypress Hammock Park (offered in partnership with the City of Coral Springs and Harmony Development Center) 1300 Coral Springs Drive, Coral Springs Saturdays & Sundays only through Saturday, August 10 Noon – 5 p.m. 954-766-4483. Located at 1300 Coral Springs Drive in Coral Springs.

Eagles Haven on Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 5655 Coral Ridge Drive, Coral Springs (next to Tunie’s) 954-618-0350 eagleshaven.org.
