Marjory Stoneman Douglas graduate Christian Rodriguez’s dominance continued, winning the 2025 Al Graeber Outstanding Pitcher Award in the Cape Cod League this summer.
Rodriguez, a 2023 graduate, played for the Harwich Mariners and made 12 appearances, pitching to an ERA of 0.93. He also added four saves while striking out 26 batters in 19.1 innings pitched.
A three-time State Champion, Rodriguez went 29-2 with a 1.19 ERA and five saves in high school. He also struck out 310 batters in 168.2 innings before going on to play for the Florida Gators.
Rodriguez missed his freshman season due to an injury and went on to make 22 appearances this past season, earning a win and helping the Gators reach the NCAA Tournament. He is now set to play as a redshirt sophomore this year with the Gators and is draft-eligible in the summer of 2026.
