Marjory Stoneman Douglas DECA Students Advance to International Competition 1

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School’s DECA chapter, the seventh-largest in the world, is set to showcase its business acumen on the international stage.

On April 25, 78 MSD DECA students will compete at the DECA Inc. International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Orlando, Florida, after excelling at the state level.

From March 6 to March 9, 197 MSD DECA students participated in the Florida DECA Career Development Conference — also held in Orlando. Demonstrating exceptional skill in business, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship categories, 78 students earned top placements, securing their spots at ICDC.

ICDC is the pinnacle of DECA competition, bringing together over 22,000 high school students, advisors, and industry professionals worldwide. Competitors will engage in rigorous business simulations, case studies, and presentations in hopes of earning international recognition.
