Jackson is a fun-loving pup who loves people and other animals. Although he came to the shelter in January as a stray, he has a happy and calm demeanor and listens well to commands.
According to Broward County Animal Care, Jackson is five years old and 48 pounds. This black and white American Staffordshire Terrier is super smart and loves any kind of attention. He enjoys the outings with the volunteers and behaves well in the park and in public places.
Having Jackson as a pet is a non-stop good time. He welcomes everyone with a big happy smile and is always begging for pets and kisses. This handsome fellow would be a perfect companion for a family that has other dogs and likes to spend time outside.
To adopt Jackson (A2177881), foster, or take a dog out for lunch, email the shelter at foster@broward.org. To schedule a meet-and-greet appointment and learn more about adoptable pets, email ACADadoptions@broward.org.
The Adoption Center at Broward County Animal Care is located at 2400 SW 42 Street, Fort Lauderdale, and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Adoptions are at no cost and include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, a microchip, and a Broward County pet license tag.
