The Marjory Stoneman Douglas baseball team made it back-to-back wins to start the new season with a no-hitter in their 8-0 win over Miami Springs High School on Thursday.
Making his MSD debut, Gio Rojas tossed five hitless innings before Brayden McCluskey tossed a scoreless sixth before Luke Cherry closed it out. Devin Fitz-Gerald knocked in two runs, while Niko Benestad, Nick Diaz, and Ethan Askin all knocked in runs. MSD will play Monarch High School in their next game on Monday, February 26, at 6:30 p.m.
