The Marjory Stoneman Douglas boys soccer team picked up their first win of the season on Monday, defeating Deerfield Beach High School 5-1.
The Eagles went 11-4-3 last season and made Regionals but lost to Monarch High School. Their team consists of Jayveer Selvaraj, Aquiles Yibirin, Coby Alhadeff, Dillon Morozov, Sebastian Piccone, Robert Heffner, Esteban Pacheco, Brandon Allman, Samuel Fresneda, Joaquin Guerrero, Jonah Burke, Liam Ulinski, Alex Prada, Anthony Carnuccio, Nolan Alba, Andrew Macbride, Frank Re, Henrique Smith, Sebastian Mira, Soren Chris Jacobson, Valentino Mira, Lukas Avila, Elan Jon Saranga and Daniel Tiplea.
Next, MSD will play Coral Glades on Tuesday, November 28 at 4 p.m. The Jaguars are 3-1-1 this year, with their only loss against Everglades High School. The Eagles went 2-0 against Coral Glades last year, including eliminating them from the playoffs.
