The Marjory Stoneman Douglas football team dropped its second straight game to begin the season, losing to Deerfield Beach High School 30-10
The game was originally scheduled for Friday, but was pushed back to Monday and then moved again to Tuesday due to weather. Landen Johnson had the lone touchdown in the game, coming on the ground while Brody Kefford added a field goal.
The Eagles had previously lost to Cypress Bay High School in their first game before being rained out in Week 2. They will make that game up on Monday, September 15 against Cooper City High School. The Cowboys are 1-1 this year and had a win over Coral Glades while falling to South Broward High School. Cooper City also won 24-15 in the lone matchup last year.
