
Marjory Stoneman Douglas DECA chapter. {MSD DECA}
Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School DECA earned multiple top finishes at DECA’s International Career Development Conference held April 24-29 in Atlanta.
The school’s DECA chapter took 44 students to the international competition, where students competed against top business and marketing students from around the world.
Among the top performers, Samantha Dinnis, Alex Freedman, and Kaavya Ramchandran earned second place in the Project Management Sales Project.
Several students also finished as Top 10 finalists in their respective categories, including Caitlyn Acosta, Kevin Chen, and Aarush Sutaria in Project Management Community Awareness; Bradley Hau in Franchise Business Plan; and Noa Nierman in Professional Selling.
Additional Top 20 finalists included Nicolas Perez in Financial Consulting, Beatrice Cardoso in Start-Up Business Plan, and Kyra Shultz in Integrated Marketing Campaign Service.
In addition to competition events, students participated in conference activities including the DECA Rock the Block Party, Florida DECA Night at the Zoo Atlanta, and a visit to the Georgia Aquarium.
The annual conference brings together thousands of DECA members from across the country to compete in business, finance, hospitality, and marketing events while participating in leadership and networking activities.
