Marjory Stoneman Douglas continues developing into one of the top tennis teams in the state.
Through their first three matches, the boys and girls teams are undefeated and have dropped only one set.
For Head Coach Amelia Pena, her team is doing great and is looking toward their next non-district matchup against Boca Raton Community High School after their previous match against J.P. Taravella was canceled.
“It doesn’t count for our district, but it is going to be great competition for many of my top players,” Coach Pena said. “We were supposed to have a match Tuesday but instead, we are going to have our players challenge each other at practice which should help us.
Following their match against Boca Raton, the Eagles will face Cypress Bay, Pompano Beach, and Cardinal Gibbons High School starting on Monday, March 14.
