Sprout and Ali {Broward County Animal Care}
Two adorable pups are looking for their forever homes, and Broward County Animal Care hopes you’ll consider opening your heart — and home — to one of their featured Pets of the Week: Sprout and Ali.
Sprout
Sprout (A2411398) is a 1-year-old Harrier mix found as a stray in Coconut Creek. Despite his sweet disposition and lovable personality, no one has come forward to claim him.
With his wiry tufts of fur giving him the appearance of a mini mohawk and bearded face, Sprout is as unique in looks as he is in spirit. He’s playful and social with other dogs — especially his best pal, Ali — and enjoys romping around with canine friends. Though he has his energetic moments, Sprout also knows how to settle down and relax by your side.
Already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and learning new tricks like “sit” and “paw,” Sprout is a smart pup at the perfect age for continued obedience training. Best of all, his adoption fees are waived.
Ali
Ali (A2414937) is a one-year-and-three-month-old black-and-white Labrador Retriever mix who was surrendered to the shelter when his previous owner could no longer care for him. But that hasn’t dimmed his happy spirit.
Full of energy and personality, Ali is an adventurous dog who especially loves chasing tennis balls and wrestling with his canine companions — including his buddy, Sprout. He’s a social butterfly and an affectionate snuggler who will gladly crawl into your lap for pets and kisses.
Ali is also a quick learner who already knows how to sit, give a paw, and lie down. Like Sprout, he’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go — with his adoption fees fully waived.
Visit and Adopt
Both dogs are available at Broward County Animal Care, located at 2400 SW 42nd Street in Fort Lauderdale. All adopted pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and receive a Broward County Pet Registration Tag at no cost.
