Cheddy and Lilly {Broward County Animal Care}
Two lovable dogs at Broward County Animal Care are searching for their forever homes, and with waived adoption fees, now is the perfect time to bring home a new furry friend.
Cheddar
Cheddar (A2357923), a six-year-old Labrador mix, has been patiently waiting for a loving family since arriving at the shelter as a stray in December. Described by volunteers as a well-behaved and friendly pup, Cheddar is a calm companion who enjoys human affection, belly rubs, and leisurely walks.
With a striking ginger coat that sheds minimally, Cheddar’s Setter-Retriever mix heritage makes him a great addition to any calm household. He is observant, alert, and trim in size, making him well-suited for apartment or condo living as long as he gets his daily exercise.
Already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, Cheddar is ready to go home today. Could you be the one to give this senior gentleman the home he deserves?
Lilly
Lilly (A2378622), a two-year-old Dalmatian mix, is another beautiful pup looking for her forever family. A good Samaritan rescued her as a stray in January and brought her to a local shelter before she was transferred to Broward County Animal Care.
Lilly’s snowy white coat and adorable floppy ears make her a heart-stealer. Initially shy and fearful, she blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion once she gets to know you. She enjoys treats and is social with other dogs, though she is still learning proper manners.
Lilly is also spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and like Cheddar, her adoption fees are waived.
