Misty and Emma {Broward County Animal Care}
Broward County Animal Care is spotlighting two lovable pups ready to leave shelter life behind and become part of a loving family.
Misty, a 6-year-old American Staffordshire mix, was found as a stray in Deerfield Beach this past March. Petite and gentle, Misty has quickly become a shelter favorite thanks to her calm and affectionate personality. She walks beautifully on a leash, shows no interest in other dogs, and adores chin scratches. Misty already knows how to sit, and with her sweet nature and quiet charm, she’s the perfect companion for someone seeking a laid-back, loyal friend. Misty is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and her adoption fee is waived.
Emma, a 9-year-old American Staffordshire mix, has been waiting longer than most, over a year, to find her forever home. After being found as a stray in December 2023, she’s spent time in a foster home, where her playful and affectionate personality flourished. Emma knows several commands, is housebroken, and loves human companionship. However, she would do best as the only pet in a home without small children. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and also has no adoption fees.
Interested adopters can meet Misty and Emma at Broward County Animal Care, located at 2400 SW 42nd Street in Fort Lauderdale. All adopted pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and receive a Broward County Pet Registration Tag at no cost.
