MSD Boys and Girls Cross Country Start Season With 1st-Place Finishes

The Marjory Stoneman Douglas boys and girls cross country teams each took first place in their opening meet of the season in Deerfield Beach.

The boys had five runners finish inside the top 10, led by Roberto Martone, who placed fourth. Alexander Spadaccini finished sixth, Nicholas Rosenberg came in seventh, Joshua Glasgow placed ninth, and Jason Lemelman finished 10th.

Kaden Kirkpatrick followed in 12th, with Aaron Grossman in 13th, Sheheryar Kashif in 15th and Skyler Kniberg in 17th. Colton Pattok placed 25th, followed by Aiden Coon, Vince Mandracchia, Ryan Sohnen, James Mills, Jaden Geraci, Cameron Frank, Jacob Casillas, Caden Lankios, Sebastian Alvarez, Andrew Lam and Tyler Berlowski.

On the girls’ side, MSD had three runners finish inside the top five. Noa Nierman led the way in third, followed by Emiliana Anzures in fourth and Sophia Zengotita in fifth.

Antonella Dominguez placed seventh, while Lilliana Ryan and Caroline Schwartz finished ninth and 10th, respectively. Emily Levine came in 14th, and Rebecca Bridger placed 15th, followed by Brianna Alvarez, Addison Hokanson, Martina Velez, Victoria Mallerman, Summer Valladares, Haleigh Mills, and Isabella Pattok.
