Original Florida Poker Star Ivan Sabater has officially announced his commitment to attend the University of Miami.
Sabater has pitched in seven games with the Pokers and has struck out 28 in only 19.2 innings. His team has also won two BCS National Championships while at the high school level, Sabater has pitched in 21 games and has an era of 3.39. He also has a home run, eight doubles and 24 runs.
With one more year left before college, he will join a team that went 35-27 a season ago and had won four National Champions as well as 25 appearances in the College World Series.
