Even after the high school baseball season, Parkland continues to produce winners after five State Champions recently competed in the FACA All-Star Game, while others won titles in travel ball.

Freeman is signed with the University of Louisville and led the Eagles in batting average at .387. The starting catcher also had two home runs, seven doubles, three triples, and 31 RBIs this season.
For travel baseball, the Original Florida Pokers continue to shine, with two teams winning Championships. The 10u Pokers Blue team, coached by former MLB All-Star Juan Pierre, shined in the tournament, winning all four games and outscoring their opponents 53-11. After a 7-2 win in the first game, the Pokers scored 17 runs in their next two games before a 12-4 win in the final against OTB Baseball.
The 17u baseball team began the summer season, winning the Memorial Day East Title and going 6-0 in their games. They began with a 6-3 win over Natty Boys in a game started by Jack Rostock. Nate Fernandez, Nate Hernandez, and Julian Diaz all pitched. Nicholas Raber led the way with two RBIs.
Carter McGuinn then won in the second game as the Pokers scored seven runs in the first and the fourth to win 14-1. Raber and Johnny Chen See drove in three before winning 11-2 in their third game behind Joshua Friedlander.
He struck out eight in four innings as the Pokers went on to win a pair of games to advance to the final. They won 3-1 over CBU Scout and scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh to walk off South Florida Giants.
Ivan Sabater had the walk-off hit before Rostock tossed a complete game shutout in the final. He struck out nine with Adrian Bermudoz driving in the only run in a 1-0 win.
