The Parkland Chamber of Commerce will host a special “Networking for Good” Breakfast on Wednesday, November 13, in honor of World Kindness Day.
The event takes place at the Marriott Coral Springs Hotel & Convention Center, at 11775 Heron Bay Blvd, Coral Springs. Breakfast and a program will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Attendees will have the chance to connect with various local nonprofits and gain insight into the invaluable work these organizations do in the community.
The breakfast will highlight several nonprofit organizations, including the Broward Sheriff’s Office, CareerSource Broward, the Children’s Services Council, Congregation Kol Tikvah, Eagles Haven, and Florida Atlantic University, as well as Fitwize4Kids and Florida Virtual School, which provide specialized services and support for youth in the area.
Food for the Poor, Indian Regional Cultural Center, and the Jewish Federation of Broward County, organizations dedicated to providing aid, cultural enrichment, and community support, will also be featured. Other local nonprofits, including Junior Achievement of South Florida, Make Our Schools Safe, and Parkland Friends of the Library, will share their missions and initiatives.
Community members can engage with groups like the Rotary Club of Parkland, Iddeal/ScentsAbility, and SOS Children’s Villages. Additional nonprofits include Somerset Parkland Academy, City of Parkland, and United Way of Broward County, rounding out a diverse lineup.
