Loxahatchee Road Partial Reopening Expected by Mid-December
FDOT anticipates reopening Loxahatchee Road from SR 817/N University Drive to Parkside Drive by December 6, 2024, weather permitting.
This reopening will provide a new level of access along the approximately mile-long stretch, though intermittent lane closures and detours may continue to facilitate ongoing construction.
While the road will be accessible, residents should expect some traffic adjustments as the project progresses. FDOT has assured that access to local roads and residential properties within the work zone will be maintained, with efforts to minimize traffic disruptions.
Advance notice of any future closures will be communicated to the community.
