The Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Parkland responded to various incidents between January 21 and January 27, 2025. Below is a detailed account of the incidents and arrests handled by local law enforcement.

Location: Parkland, FL
Synopsis: A reporting person contacted authorities after her son ran away with another juvenile female. Deputies located the juveniles at a Coral Springs Shell gas station. Both were in good health and had left to hang out due to strict parents. Juveniles were returned to their guardians.

Synopsis: School administration filed a threat assessment report involving a juvenile male.

Synopsis: A female student passed out and hit her head in the bathroom. She was transported to Coral Springs Medical Center for treatment.

Incident Type: Counterfeiting

Location: 7705 N State Road 7, Parkland, FL (Wawa)
Synopsis: A white male suspect used counterfeit $20 bills to purchase a gift card at Wawa. The suspect left in a white Audi SUV. Evidence, including counterfeit bills, was collected.

Synopsis: A black SUV jumped the curb and exited through the back gate of the Parkland Isles Clubhouse.

Location: Parkland, FL
Synopsis: A domestic battery occurred after an argument between a victim and her boyfriend. The boyfriend pushed the victim several times and later slammed her onto the bed. The victim opted into Marsy’s Law and provided a sworn statement.

Location: Parkland, FL
Synopsis: A 14-year-old female left home after an argument with her stepmother. She was later found in front of Heron Heights Elementary and returned to her family.

Location: Parkland, FL
Synopsis: An adult female reported that a credit union loan was opened in her name without her consent.

Incident Type: DUI Alcohol or Drugs – 2nd Offense

Date/Time: 01/24/2025
Location: Parkland, FL
Arrest: Paul-Emile Dorsainvil, 69, was arrested for DUI, Alcohol or Drugs, second offense.
