Deputies responded to a delayed report of a tow truck trespassing in the Heron Bay community.
Domestic Disturbance (Non-Crime)
Location: Parkland
Date/Time: Aug. 5, 11:00 a.m.
Deputies responded to a disagreement between an adult female and her son regarding where she could eat. The female requested police presence to speak with her son.

Location: Parkland District Office, 6650 University Dr.
Date/Time: Aug. 5, 6:00 p.m.
Deputies documented a complaint regarding a court-ordered parenting plan allegedly not being followed. No criminal violations were observed.
Information — Child Custody Address Dispute
Location: Parkland
Date/Time: Aug. 5, 9:00 p.m.
A woman demanded the address where her son was residing with his grandparents, who declined to provide it due to prior harassment calls. She was advised to seek a court order.
Property Damage
Location: 7000 block Nob Hill Rd.
Date/Time: Aug. 6, 1:00 p.m.
A school bus damaged the grass and an irrigation system on the swale of Nob Hill Rd., causing an estimated $3,000 in damage.
Information — Theft of Coolers
Location: Parkland
Date/Time: Aug. 1, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Two coolers, valued at $60, were removed from the front of a residence. The victim declined to press charges and requested documentation only.
Property Damage
Location: Rising Tides Car Wash, 7201 N. State Rd. 7
Date/Time: Aug. 9, 11:00 a.m.
While in the car wash line, a vehicle abruptly stopped, causing another to strike it from behind. Both vehicles were in “car wash mode.”
Domestic Disturbance (Non-Crime)
Location: Parkland
Date/Time: Aug. 9, 7:00 p.m.
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. After speaking with all parties, no probable cause for a crime was found.
Information — Welfare Check
Location: Parkland
Date/Time: Aug. 10, 8:00 p.m.
Deputies conducted a welfare check after reports of alleged threats. All parties denied any threats or violence, and the allegations were deemed unfounded.
Extortion/Blackmail
Location: Parkland
Date/Time: Aug. 10, 12:14–8:10 p.m.
A victim reported receiving text messages demanding money. Evidence included the messages and a signed victim theft affidavit. Estimated loss: $100.
