Trespassing
– On June 17, a resident on the 10400 block of Parkland reported a neighbor trespassing on her property around 10:30 a.m. No further action was reported.
Theft
– A white Transit van parked at a residence on June 17 was targeted for theft when an orange Tide-branded bag containing custom suits and dress shirts, totaling an estimated $6,000 in value, was taken from the front porch between 1:45 p.m. and 2:57 p.m.
Animal Bite
– A minor dog-on-dog incident occurred on June 17 around 5 p.m. when a leashed dog was bitten by a neighbor’s unleashed dog. The victim’s dog sustained a minor paw laceration. A bite report was sent to Animal Control.
Fraud
– A Parkland resident reported on June 17 that she had sent $115,000 via wire transfer over several years to an unknown person she met on JDate, believing it to be a romantic relationship. The fraud occurred between October 2021 and May 2025.
Battery (Dating Violence)
– A delayed report of domestic battery dating back to mid-2024 was filed on June 18. The incident involved a female victim and a male suspect. The case is under investigation.
Information Reports
– June 18: A juvenile was involved in a police information report near zone 1701.
– June 19: A resident reported a missing delivery package in zone 1703.
– June 22: Deputies responded to a neighbor dispute where a verbal threat was allegedly made. Surveillance video was provided.
Domestic Disturbances (Non-Criminal)
– June 17: A verbal dispute was reported between a married couple at the husband’s job site.
– June 20: A husband and wife engaged in a verbal altercation at their residence. No physical violence occurred in either case.
No arrests were reported during this period.
