Parkland Night Out to Connect Families With School Resource Officers Before New School Year 4

National Night Out {City of Parkland}

Families will have an opportunity to meet their children’s school resource officers and learn about local recreation programs during Parkland Night Out on Monday, Aug. 3.

Hosted by the City of Parkland, the free community event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Parkland Recreation and Enrichment Center (P-REC) at Pine Trails Park.

Designed to help families prepare for the upcoming school year, the event will give residents the chance to meet the school resource officers assigned to Parkland schools and to build relationships with local law enforcement in an informal setting.

Attendees can also explore emergency vehicles on display, enjoy music and food, and learn more about the programs and activities offered through the Parkland Recreation and Enrichment Center.
