Parkland’s own Jack Rostock capped off an impressive high school baseball career with two dominant performances, including a complete-game shutout in the State Semifinals for North Broward Prep.
The senior closed out his final season in style, tossing a complete-game shutout against South Sumter High School while allowing just four hits and needing only 80 pitches. Earlier in the postseason, Rostock also delivered another complete-game shutout in Game 1 of the Regional Final, surrendering only five hits.
Rostock finishes his high school career with a 16-4 record, tying a school record for wins. After winning seven games as a junior with a 1.86 ERA, he added nine more victories during his senior season while posting a 2.23 ERA. Over 140 career innings pitched, he recorded 140 strikeouts and established himself as one of the top pitchers in the area.
Rostock is committed to continuing his baseball career at NC State University and will also be eligible for the 2026 MLB Draft.
