The Swim4Nick Foundation will host its ninth annual Free Swim Stroke Clinic on Sunday, Aug. 23.
The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to noon at Plantation Pool, 9151 NW 2nd St. in Plantation, giving young swimmers an opportunity to receive instruction from experienced coaches while promoting water safety and honoring the legacy of Nicholas Dworet.
The Swim4Nick Foundation was established in memory of Nicholas Dworet, a standout swimmer and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student. The organization is dedicated to promoting water safety, providing swim education, and helping children develop lifesaving swimming skills.
Registration is now open. Participants can sign up by visiting Swim4Nick.org and completing the online registration form.
