Westglades Middle School continues its strong run in athletics, highlighted by the girls’ flag football team finishing the regular season undefeated after winning all eight of its games.
“We’re proud of the record, but this team knows the real work starts now,” Head Coach Dave Weissman said. “They show up every day ready to improve. That mindset gives this team a chance to do something special. Coach Chris Chambers and I have really enjoyed coaching these girls. We know the competition is about to get real, and they’re built for it.”
The Wolves dominated throughout the season, outscoring opponents 202–6. The only points allowed came in the final game of the regular season against Somerset Parkland. Westglades earned victories over Ramblewood, Coral Springs, Forest Glen, Imagine Broward, Somerset Riverside, Lyons Creek, Sawgrass, and Somerset Parkland during its undefeated run.
The team is coached by Dave Weissman and also features former NFL wide receiver Chris Chambers as an assistant coach. The roster includes London Redell, Mariah Burley, Haley Camp, Charleigh Ramirez, Abigail Johnson, Crystal Chambers, Grace Fitzgerald, Addisyn Hickman, Lilly Kalvitis, Katlin Muso, Oriana Padauy, Kenley Seliger, Karen Tasso, and Ainsley Weissman.
