An intoxicated driver was involved in a crash that left two people seriously injured in Parkland, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
The June 23 crash happened at 10:13 p.m. in the 13300 block of Loxahatchee Road, BSO records show. A 45-year-old woman was among those injured, according to BSO.
In an initial summary of the incident, BSO classified the 2-vehicle crash as a driving under the influence case and said a suspect was involved in the crash.
“There were two victims that were transported to the hospital where medical staff advised that both victims suffered serious bodily injury,” a BSO deputy wrote.
No additional information about the suspect was provided, and no arrest had been announced as of Wednesday.
An update on the condition of the victims was also not immediately available.
A BSO spokesperson on Wednesday said the case is open and remains under investigation.
