Westglades Middle School girls’ soccer competed another terrific season, making a run to the Semifinals.
The Wolves finished the season 8-2, including a pair of wins in the postseason against Franklin Academy and Lyons Creek Middle School under coaches Mary Ann Sweeney and Shannon Goodrich.
“We found coaching the girls a complete pleasure. They showed tremendous drive, growth, and determination throughout the season, never giving up even against the toughest opponents,” said Sweeney. “Their compassion and comradery towards their teammates make being a part of this team and school a win-win situation.
The Westglades team features captains Allison Ofstein and Courtney Heymach as well as Isabella Bayarri, Jordin Bekker, Sophia Canizalez, Savanah Colon, Elayna Garzon, Elizabeth Garzon, Leah Glauser, Addison Goodrich, Eliza Hernandez, Ava La Rosa, Morgan McCluskey, Stella Rappaport, Alyssa Rodriquez, Nadia Tomlinson, Grace Ulinsky and Aimee Vignola.
