The Parkland Chamber of Commerce is launching new women’s networking events to foster connections and collaboration among local female entrepreneurs.
The inaugural Women’s Networking Event will be held on Tuesday, October 29, at 5:30 p.m. at the OM Center for Wellness, located at 7375 N. State Rd, Suite A.
Complimentary for current chamber members, the event is part of the EmpowerHer Collaborative Networking Group.
“Joining the EmpowerHer Collaborative Networking Group gives Parkland Chamber of Commerce members —many of whom are local female entrepreneurs — the chance to connect, collaborate, and grow alongside other like-minded leaders,” said Cindy Kaufman, Director of Programming for the Parkland Chamber, adding that by prioritizing and supporting female leadership, the Chamber helps create a stronger, more inclusive business community where women can thrive.
In addition to the women’s event, the Chamber is hosting a Men’s Health Q&A and Lunch on Wednesday, October 23, from 12 to 1:15 p.m. at Malbec Grill, 7351 North State Rd. 7. Sponsored by Broward Health, the event will feature an interactive discussion with Dr. Mohamed Osman, cardiologist, Dr. Azeem Sachedina, urologist, and Dr. Avinash Persad, primary care specialist. This event is $25 for chamber members and $35 for non-members.
