Broward Sheriff’s Office Deputies from the Parkland district are investigating a suspicious persons incident which occurred in the early morning hours on Friday morning.
At approximately 2:00 a.m., several individuals were reportedly seen riding bicycles around the Parkland neighborhoods of Watercrest and Heron Bay. A Heron Bay resident shared a video of a man (above) attempting to open the vehicle in his driveway from his Ring doorbell with an accessory riding his bicycle nearby.
One resident reported their car was burglarized, however, several pairs of sunglasses were the only items reportedly stolen.
According to BSO, they responded with a K9 and helicopter to the reported areas. They remind all residents to check their cars, surveillance cameras and report any issues.
Anyone else with information, including surveillance video of the subjects are asked to contact Parkland BSO at 954-764-4357.
