The Marjory Stoneman Douglas boys lacrosse team began the 2024 season with an 18-9 loss against Community School of Naples.
Darren Edenbum scored five goals and is part of a team consisting of Ryan Mockenhaupt, Ethan Nguyen, Ryan Spallina, Matthew Koesten, Preston Gerena, Henry Leon, Konrad Verlsteffen, Josh Lieberman, Montgomery Kantner, Matthew Nason, Jake Pleffner, Michael Cacace, Ethan Pakhomov, Jake Heymach, Andrew Greenberg, Alec Gordon, Nate Klein, Josh Johnson, Dhruv Mutha, Jackson Cardwell, Mikey Fierstat, Dylan Thompson, Ethan Hand, Julian Victoria, Zaid Popen and Noah Ozan.
The Eagles are coming off a season where they went 6-9 and will play their next game on Wednesday, February 21, against Saint Amdrew’s School at 7 p.m. The Scots won a State Championship last year, going 19-3, and beat MSD 13-2 in their last meeting in 2022.
