The Stoneman Douglas Color Guard will host a free community Spin Camp for local youth in February, offering an introduction to the Sport of the Arts in a fun and inclusive environment.
Spin Camp 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. The camp is open to children ages 5 to 18 and is designed to introduce participants to color guard through dance fundamentals, equipment technique, and high-energy routines.
Led by the nationally recognized Stoneman Douglas Color Guard program, the camp aims to inspire the next generation of performers while providing a positive, creative experience for families in the community.
“SPIN with Stoneman Douglas is about opening our doors to the community and giving students a place to grow, create, and experience the sport of the arts,” said Dean Broadbent, Director of Color Guards. “We’re beyond excited to make year two even bigger and better.”
Advanced registration is required. Visit stonemandouglasband.com/campinfo. Space is limited, and registration closes Feb. 22.
The event is free to attend, with an optional prepaid meal plan available.
