In their second game of the season, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas junior varsity football team scored a pair of touchdowns but ultimately fell to Piper High School.
The Eagles moved to 0-2 following their 20-12 loss on Wednesday night. Jackson Norkunas had a rushing touchdown while Zack Krajczewski recorded a receiving touchdown.
For Head Coach Quentin Short, he is just hoping these kids can improve as they work their way up to varsity.
“I just want them to continue to improve and get reps,” said Coach Short. “The ultimate goal is to get them ready for varsity football, developing their fundamentals and knowledge of the game and understanding our schemes.”
Next, MSD is scheduled to play against Coral Glades on Wednesday, October 20, at 6:30 p.m.
