The Marjory Stoneman Douglas girls volleyball team continued their historic season, winning a District Championship following a huge win on Friday.
The Eagles came into the postseason as the second seed after going 7-8 during the regular season before defeating J.P. Taravella in the quarterfinals. MSD defeated Piper High School in the semifinals before their stunning win over top-seeded Boca Raton Community High School in three sets in the final.
The Bobcats came in with 12 victories in 17 matches this year, but they were beaten 25-15, 25-22, 25-15, and the Eagles will move on to Regionals. They will await to see who they will play.
