The City of Parkland is holding a Memorial Day Ceremony to honor the Americans who died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
The ceremony will commence at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 27. Mayor Rich Walker will deliver a welcome speech, followed by the Honor Guard from the Broward Sheriff’s Office and the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department presenting the colors.
There will be special speakers and food trucks will be onsite.
Memorial Day services are held at Pine Trails Park Amphitheatre. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Food trucks will be available at the event.
