The Original Florida Pokers are set to host four baseball development programs starting in September in the Parkland area.
They are offering a Youth Development Series for kids ages seven 7-13 st Pine Trails Park. The practices will be held on Mondays, starting on September 8 and running through December 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Marjory Stoneman Douglas Head Coach Todd Fitz-Gerald will lead an Advanced Skills Series for travel ball players ages 10-13 while Stoneman Douglas pitching coaches Mike Cimilluca and Von Stertzbach will run a Pitching Development Program on Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. Both of those programs will be held at Stoneman Douglas varsity baseball field.
The first advanced skills series session with Coach Fitz-Gerald is sold out, but will run again in October, November and December with the seven-time state champion.
They will also be holding both one-day camps when schools are off. Starting on Monday September 1 in addition to multi-day camps November 24-26, December 22-23 and December 29-31. Those interested in registering can visit Originalfloridapokers.com.
