Details: A woman reported being bitten on the inner thigh by a tan Labrador Terrier while walking outside. She was treated at MD Now Urgent Care.
Threat Assessment Report
Date/Time: Sept. 3, 10:52 a.m.
Location: Riverglades Elementary, 7400 Parkside Dr.
Details: A low-level threat assessment was completed. No victims or suspects.
Assist Other Agency
Date/Time: Sept. 3, 1:20 p.m.
Location: Park Trails Elementary, 10700 Trails End
Details: Deputies responded to a juvenile male experiencing a seizure. EMS transported him to Baptist Health Coral Springs.

Details: A woman reported that a nude photo of her, allegedly taken by her estranged husband in 2015, was posted on Facebook. The photo was removed after a confrontation. She was advised to pursue civil action.

Stray Dog

Details: A 15-year-old girl kicked her father during an argument. The father declined to pursue charges. The juvenile was taken into custody and transported to JAC.

Details: A verbal dispute between two women escalated into unwanted physical contact. No injuries. The victim declined charges.

Details: A woman was found wandering in the roadway in an altered mental state. She was taken to Fort Lauderdale Behavioral for treatment.

Details: A 91-year-old woman passed away of natural causes. She had a DNR, and her doctor will sign the death certificate.

Details: A vehicle was broken into with $100 in losses reported. Victim signed a burglary affidavit.

Details: A woman reported her ex-boyfriend repeatedly knocking on her door, yelling, and refusing to leave. No probable cause for a crime. She was advised on seeking a restraining order.

Details: A resident reported his one-year-old bicycle, valued at $450, stolen from outside his front door.

Details: A woman discovered damage to the ignition/key fob of her unlocked vehicle. No items were missing. Vehicle processed for prints with negative results.

Fraud – Jury Duty Scam
Date/Time: Sept. 6, 8 p.m.
Location: Parkland
Details: A woman received a scam call alleging missed jury duty with charges pending. She sent $950 before realizing it was fraudulent.
Arrests
Sept. 2: John Patrick Fletcher, 43, of Parkland, arrested on charges of sexual battery involving a victim under 12.
Sept. 3: Francis Ignatius Farnum, 46, of Parkland, arrested on charges of grand theft between $750 and $5,000.
