Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through December 4, 2023.
Extortion
A victim of Extortion/Blackmail on NW 70 Terrace on 11/30/2023. The victim advised an unknown suspect demanded money; in exchange, the suspect would not post or send explicit photos online or to his family.
Property Damage
A victim of Property Damage on NW 79 Drive on 12/01/2023. The breakaway gate arm for the community was damaged by a vehicle entering the community.
Animal Bite
A victim of Animal Bite on Hialeah Lane on 12/04/2023. The victim advised he went to the hospital but did not require stitches. The dog’s owner advised they have already made an appointment to surrender the dog. Animal control advised they would follow up with both parties.
Criminal Mischief
A victim of Criminal Mischief on 12/04/2023. The victim advised when he came outside, he observed the driver’s side rear window of his vehicle had been shattered.
Arrests
No arrests were reported.
