Parkland weekly Crime Update by Parkland Talk

Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through July 3, 2023.

Property Damage

Property Damage on N State Road 7 was reported on: 06/28/2023. A driver entered the car wash, and a tie strap in the bed of his truck came loose, wrapped around a rolling brush, and damaged three cars inside the car wash.

Burglary Conveyance

A victim of Burglary Conveyance on Eden Manor was reported on: 06/29/2023. The total estimated loss was: $2,900. The victim left the vehicle unlocked. The suspect stole a Black Gucci backpack containing the victim’s wallet and three credit cards.

Criminal Mischief

A victim of Criminal Mischief on University Drive was reported on: 07/03/2023. An unknown person or persons damaged the EZGO golf cart. The front windshield was also broken.

A victim of Criminal Mischief on Watercrest Circle W was reported on:  06/30/2023. An unknown individual forcibly pulled out the wiring to the speed traffic camera in the Watercrest Circle W, rendering it inoperative. The total cost to replace the damaged traffic camera will be approximately $15,000.

Arrests

Berger, Alyssa, Weinstein, 45, was arrested on Fraud-False Owner Info Pawn Items Less Than $300  on NW 83rd Court on 06/27/2023.
