After last year’s season was cut short, the Parkland Pokers 10U team are ready to get back on the field.
According to manager, Barry Cohen, the team was at the top of their game in early 2020, and won one tournament before their season abruptly came to an end.
Now, with open spots on the roster, Cohen said he is looking for young athletes with an interest in baseball– especially those with travel baseball experience.
Tryouts for the 10U team are open to both, girls and boys born on or after May 1, 2010.
Pre-tryout workouts are scheduled for July 7 and 9 at Pine Trails Park, inviting players interested in attending tryouts to spend some time working out with the coaching staff. Tryouts will follow on July 12.
Interested parents should call or text Cohen at 954-614-2299 for field locations and times.
