Parkland Woman Arrested After Alleged Shower Confrontation Over Suspected Infidelity 5

A Parkland woman was arrested after a domestic dispute over suspected infidelity.

According to a Broward County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, Michelle Andrea Strauss, 45, was arrested on October 31 on a charge of domestic battery.

Deputies say Strauss’s victim told a responding deputy he had gone upstairs to shower when Strauss entered the bathroom and confronted him about turning off the location feature on his phone.

He alleged Strauss then grabbed his genitals and neck simultaneously, holding him for approximately seven seconds.

The victim provided photographs that the deputy described as showing marks consistent with someone placing a hand around his throat, according to the report.

Strauss gave a different account, telling the deputy that she and the victim had been involved in an ongoing, heated argument over accusations of infidelity. She denied that anything physical had occurred.

Strauss was arrested and transported to the Broward County Main Jail. Booking records listed her as being held pending an appearance before a magistrate.
