A 54-year-old man was arrested in suburban Boca Raton Monday for exposing himself to a mother and daughter in traffic—and may be the same flasher who targeted multiple victims in Broward County, authorities said.
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies charged Anthony Cesany, of Boca Raton, with “Indecent Exposure – Exposure of Sexual Organs” in the alleged Aug. 6 crime.
Cesany was driving a green 2006 Ford Taurus when he “fully exposed himself to a victim and her daughter” shortly before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Southwest 18th Street and Lyons Road, deputies said in a press release.
“The victim was able to get the description of the suspect, his car, and tag and relay the information.”
Deputies found Cesany, arrested him on Monday, and booked him on Tuesday, records show.
In addition to the Boca case, Cesany “may be wanted in an indecent exposure incident(s) in Broward County,” according to PBSO.
Cesany was being held at the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center Tuesday night on a $5,000 bond. Records show he has a previous arrest for indecent exposure in public in 2005 and was adjudicated guilty in the case in 2006.
He received one-year probation, records show.
Parkland Talk last week broke the story of a flasher who victims say masturbated in front of multiple women at West Hillsboro Boulevard and North State Road 7, a short drive from where Cesany allegedly flashed the Boca mom and daughter.
At least two women have reported the lewd acts and indecent exposure to Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies in Parkland.
Five additional women have come forward on social media to share their victimization experiences, according to online posts and one of the victims. One victim said she had her child with her at the time.
Witnesses said that the unidentified Parkland flasher has masturbated at red lights at the Parkland intersection that borders multiple police jurisdictions, including PBSO territory.
His modus operandi: waving to get the attention of women driving SUVs stopped at the intersection between 4 and 5 p.m., then masturbating when they look over.
Witnesses in the Broward cases described the flasher as possibly seen driving an older four-door Ford vehicle, green or blue in color, according to BSO.
