Former Marjory Stoneman Douglas running back Khalil Herbert had another incredible week for the Chicago Bears during the team’s seventh win.
Herbert, who attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas before transferring and graduating from American Heritage, finished with 129 scrimmage yards and had a touchdown in a 37-17 win.
“I feel good. Big shoutout to the o-line and God for keeping me healthy, Herbert said postgame. “It’s been a long season, but I feel good.”
The Bears, who earned the first pick in the 2024 draft via the Carolina Panthers, head into the final week with a record of 7-9. They will face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, January 7.
