Marjory Stoneman Douglas shined in their opening track and field meet, with the girls finishing in first place while the boys came in third at South Plantation High School.
The girls finished with 134 points, with Mikayla Ryan, Samanta Bandres Chourio, and Naomi Grissette all winning events. Sophia Zengotita, Taylor Strauss, and Alexis Freckleton finished second and third, respectively. Kennedy Coleman and their 4 x 100 relay team, consisting of Isabella Rodrigues, Sienna Plambeck, Samanta Bandres Chourio, and Mia Fernandez, finished third.
The boys had 86.5 points, which was only behind McArthur and Stranahan High School, with Connor Stallings recording a first and second-place finish. The boys x 4 100 relay team of Jahron Mcclellan, Krish Sule, Connor Stallings, and Sahil Sule took second in the 4 x 100 relay, with Sule, Spinks, and Rosenberg placing third.
