Snowflake and Ash need homes. {Humane Society of Broward County}
By Sharon Aron Baron
Halloween is around the corner, and two delightful pets at the Humane Society of Broward County seek loving homes to become part of all the holiday photos and celebrations.
Snowflake, a charming 3-year-old dog (ID A674326), loves playing dress-up and is keen to find a new home. Her previous family gave her up after a new baby arrived, making it challenging for them to give her the attention she deserves.
Described as playful, loving, and good with humans and other dogs, Snowflake has never had the experience of being around cats. Still, she certainly has a penchant for catching lizards. Snowflake knows basic commands and is crate-trained. Dolly’s Dream has generously covered her adoption fee, ensuring she can find her perfect home without financial obstacles.
On the feline front, Ash, a six-year-old cat (ID A674269), is looking for a family to call his own. Known for his affectionate nature and good behavior with kids and other pets, Ash is anything but your typical cat. He loves playing fetch, leading some to joke that he might be a “dog in a catsuit.”
His friendly demeanor and fondness for being held make him the ideal companion.
For those interested in meeting Snowflake, Ash, or any other pets up for adoption, the Humane Society of Broward County recommends completing a pre-adoption application at their website at www.humanebroward.com. The shelter is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale. For any inquiries, potential adopters can reach out at 954-989-3977 ext. 6.
