
Ana Farrand {NBP}
Parkland resident Ana Farrand has been promoted to Senior Associate Director of College Advising at North Broward Preparatory School, where she has been an advisor since 2021.
According to a statement from North Broward Prep, Farrand is known for her commitment to student success and has played a vital role in guiding students and families through every step of the college application process.
With an 18-year background as a College and Career Advisor, including at Marjory Stoneman Douglas and Coral Glades High Schools, Farrand brings a wealth of experience in creating impactful programs that help students meet academic and career goals.
At North Broward Prep, she has led initiatives such as college readiness programs, coordinated college fairs, and helped families navigate financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
Farrand was also instrumental in organizing the school’s first International College Fair, forging partnerships with universities worldwide. Her new role will focus on strengthening daily advising operations, programming, and mentoring her team of college advisors.
The school also welcomed Candice Adams to the advising team and expressed gratitude to Brian Johnson for his years of service and dedication to students and families.
Principal Tanya Lynch praised the new leadership team, saying it reflects the school’s continued mission to cultivate curious, confident, and globally minded students.
