September is here and school is back in session! This time of year, is very busy for everyone including students, teachers, and families.

Are you searching for the perfect college fit? The NACAC National College Fair is coming to the Broward County Convention Center. The event will take place on September 28, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. This free event will feature representatives from hundreds of colleges around the world. Those who attend will have the opportunity to ask questions and discover what each college has to offer. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your college search or solidify your choice with the assistance of representatives and peers. September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Mental health is extremely important, and it is crucial. The entire month is dedicated to creating awareness and sharing resources that are available. The Broward County Main Library is featuring “The Storefront: Katya Neptune”. Neptune is an artist who focuses on the complexities of mental health. She is working towards normalizing having difficult conversations and destigmatizing mental health. Make sure to stop by and be mindful of yourself and those around you. Hispanic Heritage month begins on September 15 and continues through October 15. Broward County libraries are providing a wide variety of events and programs to the public. Some events include bingo, dance performances, and craft creation. Find your closest library and see what they have to offer!
