Marjory Stoneman Douglas Rising Star Cade Kuhlmeier Receives Florida State Games Invite

Marjory Stoneman Douglas baseball has another rising star, as Cade Kuhlmeier accepted an invitation to compete in the Florida State Games on September 12-13 at IMG Academy.

The invite-only event features some of Florida’s top high school baseball prospects, bringing together players from multiple graduating classes for two days of workouts and games.

The event begins with a pro-style workout for position players before transitioning into competitive games. It gives college recruiters, professional scouts and MLB evaluators an opportunity to watch many of the state’s top amateur players in one setting.

Kuhlmeier is from one of the more premier high school baseball programs, winning six consecutive State Championships. He has started on the junior varsity team before coming up for the Final and appearing as a pinch runner for the Eagles.
