Don’t let worry take away your vacation fun — the Broward Sheriff’s Office has your back over the holidays.
Vacation watch provides residents with an exterior check of their property to ensure there have been no unlawful entries and that no other obvious problems have occurred outside of the house.
“It’s a service that the district offers – our deputies are committed to keeping our residents safe during the holidays,” said BSO Captain Craig Calavetta.
Deputies will walk the house’s perimeter once in the morning and again in the evening and contact the resident if anything looks suspicious.
“We have their contact information and know if any vehicles should be on the property or not,” said Captain Calavetta. “It’s definitely a great resource we have available.”
To participate in vacation watch, complete this form and email it to Parkland@sheriff.org, or drop it off at the BSO Parkland district office located at 6650 University Drive.
