Eagles Haven Wellness Center invites the community to honor the memories of the 17 lives tragically lost on February 14, 2018, at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
The community wellness center will host a special “Forever in Our Hearts” event on Friday, February 14, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Eagles’ Haven, 5655 Coral Ridge Drive.
The remembrance event is part of the group’s year-round mission to honor the lives of the victims and survivors of the tragic Marjory Stoneman Douglas school shooting, to rediscover wellness, and to restore hope to the community through family-strengthening navigation services, wellness experiences, crisis support, and support groups.
The commemoration will include a candle lighting and dove release Ceremony at 1:30 p.m., as the community comes together to reflect and pay tribute to Alyssa Alhadeff, Scott Beigel, Martin Duque, Nicholas Dworet, Aaron Feis, Jaime Guttenberg, Chris Hixon, Luke Hoyer, Cara Loughran, Gina Montalto, Joaquin Oliver, Alaina Petty, Meadow Pollack, Helena Ramsay, Alex Schachter, Carmen Schentrup, and Peter Wang.
Eagles’ Haven has opened the event for the public to attend and support the families and the community.
