Don’t miss out on learning about the upcoming solar eclipse or the possibility of life on other planets.
Astronomer Kyle Jeter will give a presentation on exoplanets, eclipses, and the search for a planet similar to Earth at the Parkland Library on Tuesday, April 2 at 6:00 p.m.
An astronomy teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Jeter will discuss how planets are discovered around other stars and the upcoming April 8 solar eclipse, where special solar glasses will be handed out to those in attendance.
According to the Parkland Library, there will also be a presentation on how astronomers use celestial alignments to search for a planet similar to Earth.
An award-winning educator, Jeter was named Broward County Teacher of the Year in 2017.
